Game Setup and Rules
Game 1: Dribble Practice
This game includes 5 large cones (each 450mm high) and 2 soccer balls. Space the cones in a straight line or zig-zag pattern on a flat, open lawn or field.
The cones can also be used to create small goals for casual matches.
Players can practice their dribbling skills by weaving the soccer ball through the cones using only their feet. For more active play,
set up two cone goals and divide into small teams for a casual soccer game. The simple setup makes it suitable for all ages, whether for
skill practice, warm-ups, or friendly competition.
Game 2: Soccer Game
Use the 5 large cones to create two goals by placing two cones opposite each other about 1.5 to 2 meters apart on each end of the playing area.
Space the goals as far apart as the lawn or field allows. The remaining cone can be used as a center marker or left aside.
Use 1 or 2 soccer balls depending on the number of players.
Divide players into two teams. The aim is to score by kicking the ball through the opposing team's cone goal.
Standard soccer rules can apply (no hands, unless goalkeeping is allowed by agreement), or
players can adapt the rules for fun and fairness. Games can be played to a set score (e.g. first to 5 goals) or for a set time (e.g. 10 minutes per half).
